Current Groups

Healing happens in community, and therapy groups are a great way to find shared connection, support, and engage in personal growth. While individual therapy can be extremely powerful for some, group therapy provides a unique space to cultivate connection, gain a wide variety of perspectives and insights, and find solidarity with others.

Happy Couple Smiling
Therapy for s-types

2nd and 4th Thursdays | 7-8:30 pm

In-Person in RiNo (Denver)

This group is open to anyone who considers themselves a s-type (e.g., submissive, slave, property, pet, bottom) or an identity from on the right of the slash who engages with power play/submission in their kink and/or relationships.

Something that has come up over and over in the kink support groups our group facilitators have run and participated in is the struggle to find therapy support that understands kink while not fetishizing it as the only part of someone’s personality. This group is our facilitators' attempt to meet some of the needs that have a hard time being addressed in support and affinity groups. Because while support groups are vital for our community, group therapy allows for deeper investigation, self-reflection, and growth through psychoeducation, interpersonal learning, and corrective experiences.

Happy Couple Smiling
Gender Euphoria

Every Tuesday | 5:30 pm-7 pm

Virtual

This group is open to anyone who identifies as trans or gender-expansive. This group seeks to support clients in exploring what it means to live their gender authentically and receive support from others with similar lived experiences.

This group is being offered by Ari Levine, LPCC, through Serotiny Counseling.

Colorado Medicaid, Aetna, and United Healthcare Insurance plans accepted

Private pay sliding scale: $15-$30/group session (please let us know if cost is a barrier, as we would like to help).

Flirt
Therapy for D-Types

1st and 3rd Thursdays | 7-8:30 pm

In-Person in RiNo (Denver)

This group is open to anyone who considers themselves a D-type (e.g., Domme, Dom, Master, Owner, Handler, Top) or an identity from on the left of the slash who engages with power play/dominance in their kink and/or relationships.

Couple Lying Together
Kinky Relationships

1st and 3rd Mondays | 7-8:30 pm

In-Person in RiNo (Denver)

This group is open to anyone who considers themselves a part of the BDSM community and is, has been, or is interested in dominance/submission, power exchange, authority transfer, master/slave, caregiver/little, leader/follower, and other power-based relationship dynamics.

Power exchange relationships come with their own set of learning curves, communication needs, and necessary self-reflection without many varied models and examples of what things could look like for us. The goal of this therapy group is to support kinky folks in exploring and understanding their needs and wants, consider how to cultivate the relationships they want, and experience mutual growth and support from others with similar lived experiences.

At Unbound & Transformed we acknowledge, with respect, that the land we are on today is the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute Nations and peoples. This was also a site of trade, gathering, and healing for other Native tribes. We recognize the Indigenous peoples as original stewards of this land and all the relatives within it. As these words of acknowledgment are spoken and heard, the ties to Nations have to their traditional homelands are renewed and reaffirmed. We accept that our work must encompass inclusion and humility. What's This?
